I got a new phone - so I sent the pictures I took on my old phone to my husband so that he could send them to the new phone. Problem: can't open them on the new phone / but also can't delete them. Tries to confirm - "message download will be interuppted - continue?" when I try to say yes - it won't accept it - only the no option.
If someone could tell me what I need to do to fix this - that would be great!

Re: CAN'T DELETE MESSAGE / PIC / Download PIC
You can try master reset on the phone 000000...that may work if not install the MPT 4.0 version on your pc then transfer them to the pc then to the other phone.
After that and the problem still persist, you would have to reflash the firmware on the phone, not to worry it is not going to delete and msgs or pics you have stored on the phone...it will just upgrade the present firmware on the phone to correct any bugs clicthes you may be having with the phone.

This model not the best for doing & receiving pictures or texts. But I sometimes have issue above if someone has sent a message or a picture to me as part of a group message. I seem to have less issues if they send it to just me directly. Next time someone sends you one, text them back & ask them to send you pic/message seperately, not within a group & see if that helps
Hi, please delete the unsent or sent Pictures messages stored in the Sent items of your phone in order to send more picture messages. When the phone Memory becomes full the phone cannot store anymore picture messages to send. Hence please delete the pictures messages (MMS) in the sent items of Multimedia Message Sent items.
This is bcoz the message u send is stored in the phone memory or the storage card depending upon the settings.. now go to message settings and then to multimedia message settings and then change the option of storing sent message to "NO"... then Ur sent messages will not be stored and Do delete the earlier messages present,.
Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....
All finished hope this helps.
Had a similar problem myself (Sony Ericsson W890i) - just a plain old SMS message got 'queued' in the outbox, and all further messages I tried to send got sent to the outbox too without ever being sent.
What I did was delete all the messages that I could from the outbox (5 out of the 6 which had been 'queued'), and the one remaining message that I could not delete I cancelled, sent it to the Drafts folder, and then Saved it (to the SIM). I then switched off the phone, took out the SIM card, put it in my old Sony Ericsson handset, switched that on, went to the Messages folder and deleted this one troublesome SMS message from the 'Saved' sub folder. Replaced the SIM in my current handset, and sending messages thereafter was no problem. Hope it works for you too!
I took a wack at it and it took me an hour to figure it out. Okay where is the way go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.
