Problem for Camcorders
Generic problem for all Camcorders
Samsung mini dv vp-d30 model fault
can you please let me know if there is a solution to an intermittent fault with this camera whereby it does not show anything through the viewfinder or the lcd screen, it seems like a loose connection that is stopping it from displaying what the lense is seeing and therefore just records blank.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated

You propably have a problem with the ccd sensor, this type of camera
has a sony sensor which was manifactured in 2002-2004,many camera
having mounted the same sensor have the type of problem you are
reporting.
Some manifacture, canon , jvc will change free of charge, but I don't think samsung does it.
Anyway , It should cost around 50€
