Try power it down, unplug it, wait at least 30s and reconnect it.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the device by: powering it down, click and hold the [Reset] button, and whilst holding it, turn the power back on. Keep holding the [Reset] button until the main screen reappears...

When still no luck, try contacting Canon support directly: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer

Reset Canon printer errors and reset Ink Waste Absorber Full

On the Canon series machines MP160 and MP250 and MX470 I have been able to fix most error codes with this procedure: Turn off printer. Hold the Stop/Reset button (triangle in a circle) down and hold while pressing and holding down the ON button. Keep holding both down for 5 seconds then take finger off the Stop/Rest button and then press that button 4 times. This puts the printer in service mode. Let go of the buttons and press stop/reset two more times. This is a service mode signal to recycle the EEPROM and clear errors. Now you can turn the power off. If you have trouble turning off, then hold the power button for four or five seconds and let go to turn off the printer. When it restarts it will act like the printer was new. If you want the WASTE INK absorber is full warning set back to reset you would press the Stop/Reset button six times instead of four. TIP: If printer won't turn on, remove power code for 60 seconds and replace it, then power on.

The error message "door" is displayed and the machine won't start. I can I reset it.

I have Blomberg WM87120 NBL00 Product code 717518110 and had flashing Lock in display. Bought and installed new lock and no change. Display still flashing lock. Used following procedure and every is working now.
Press pause button and hold down while turning off machine.Continue to hold pause button and turn power back on. If numbers come up on display make note of them for future reference. Release pause button and all lights on display will light up. Turn power off again and then turn back on. If machine was in a cycle it should end it and then return to normal operation. .Dont know if new lock made a difference. Try the reset procedure first.

Door won't open on my wd-8015c washing machine

This is a common problem, often associated with a momentary power failure when the controller doesn't get time to reset and return to an idle state before the machine gets power back and it gets "confused". Regardless of the cause, you will almost certainly find that unplugging from the mains (Not just powering off on the button, as some door locks have a sneak circuit, even when the power is turned off at the button) and leaving the machine undisturbed for a full 20 minutes will allow a reset, the door lock will disengage and all will be well when you power back up.
Additionally, on older machines with analog program selectors, turn the selector to an end of program setting before you power it off.

Receiving E,2,7 Error messages. Can't clear. help please!

Canon support says reset machine by holding power button for one second until the display shuts off. Wait ten seconds, press power button - allow machine to completely turn back on. Otherwise, they say your printer may need repair.

(If holding the power button will not turn device off, you may unplug the power cord as an option).
