Problem for Gateway GT5678 Desktop PC
MSI NVIDIA MCP73PV Motherboard will not boot
MSI NVIDIA MCP73PV Motherboard will not boot into bios, no video signal. I have remove the memory, data cables, video card, battery (which i shorted - to + without power to reset the motherboard still didnt help) and powered up computer and no beeps telling me there is no memory or at least error code beeps. I would assume that it is a mother board issue or process which i would replace both anyway. BTW power supply fan runs processor fan runs external fan runs and the HD is spinning up so I am getting power. this is a Gateway GT5678. Gateway will not help ( out of warranty ) all i need is for someone to confirm my findings.

http://www.resint.com/Images%20Produits/0200-203.jpg is this what *********** board looks like? if it is theres a jumpper next to the batery, pull it off and move it to the right one pin and leave it for a bit. DO NOT TURN ON COMPUTER LIKE THIS =D it should reset the bios to OEM setting and get it to do something again. after a min or 2 move it back to the left 2 of the 3 pins and try it out from there. if you have tryed thies steps or if this is not what your motherboard looks like then disregard this post
