Question about HP Photosmart M22 Digital Camera
Ok... hi everyone... names r.j... so yeah me and my freind were using my amera and she made this really funny video. When she showed it to me it was so hillarious I accidently droped the camera and now the slide is not connected AT THE BOTTOM. It will still silde left and right and the camera ill turn on and off.. but now i think i have some technical problems... Sometimes ill tur the camra on after i just put in some recharged batteries and it will say i only have a lil battery power left. And then ill do it again and it will not turn on at all just flash a red lighgt. I got the batteries like a month and a half ago and have been using them faithfully everyday. so is the problem with he batteries or my camera.
PS. The camra will still take pictures and show play back like before.
A little of both.
for some reason, the cover on this model is very connected to the ability to take pics. My daughter's friend dropped hers on the cement and dented the cover. It took us a while to get it sliding at all, and we could not turn the camera on until we did!
Now, on the batteries - especially as the camera ages (not sure why), rechargable batteries are just not powerful enough for this little energy hog.
We've only found one model that actually works in this camera worth a hoot. Energizer "e" batteries in the silver and BLUE packaging. We buy those by the larger pack, since we have three HP cameras. It has made a world of difference. (And note - these batteries are not really dead when they no longer power the cameras - they still have plenty of life left for other battery-operated items that are not digital. I use them in hair trimmers, flashlights and such.
Seriously - rechargables are pretty much useless in this model for more than one or two pics.
