Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

Water is puddeling under the left side and front of the fridge. its dry and dusty underneath. water line for ice maker has been disconnected for years. cant figure where the water is coming from

You have a side by side or a undermounted freezer? I am having the same problem with mine. Take a look into the bottom of the freezer, there is probably ice building up on the bottom of it under the bottom self or basket. It seems if the refrigerator door is opened frequently and it is moderately or very humid in your home the water vapour condences inside the freezer. There is probably a condensation tray somewhere that is overflowing into the freezer compartment. Once the ice build up on the bottom gets to a certain point the water then starts to run out the front of the fridge onto the floor. Remove the ice from the bottom of the fridge and empty the condensation tray. You may have to continually do this during humid periods. For me that is about 6 months of the year every 3 to 4 days. It's a pain but what are you going to do.

Water leaking on the front bottom wfs1273bw

What I would do is remove the kick plate at the bottom, usually held on by three or four torque bit screws located underneath, then run the machine. you can check the seal for tears, etc. This way when it starts leaking you'll see where or if its the machine, etc.

Water leaking from bottom front of refrigerator

you don't say whether this is a top mount freezer side by side or what but the most common problem is a blocked defrost drain. you'll have to locate this drain and clean it out. this drain is located underneath evaporator coils in the freezer. every day the refrigerator defrosts and water runs out the drain into a pan in the bottom of the refrigerator where is evaporates.

also make sure you don't have a pin hole or other leak in an ice maker line .

Water is leaking onto the floor from underneath the refrigerator.

There is a condensor tray located underneath. It catches water and then the water evporates. Sometimes the tube gets plugged and causes a mess. Check the tube and the condensation tray. You can access the tray by just taking off the grille under the door on the front of the refrigerator.

Leaking water

Your waste pump might not be clearing the water from the machine. When you open the machine, is there a visible pool of water at the bottom? Check that your waste pipe isn't blocked, and check and clean the filter basket underneath the bottom dish tray.

Bosch nexxt washer is leaking from underneath

I found out why mine leaks. In the Bosh design there is a trap molded into the soap dispenser plastic tray. This tray or trap has a wide open path to the inside of the washing machine. We are using the tide pods as a detergent. Two things are going on here. This trap fills up with water immediately when water is cycled into the machine. The second thing is the pods partially dissolve and leave a gunk that blocks the water pathway to the drum. This blockage eventually allows water to pass however when the pressure is high and this blockage is restricting the water level rises and the trap dumps out into the washer panels. This water immediately leaks down and out the bottom. Observation when I disassembled the machine the trap was moldy and stinky. Water stains were running down the inside. Maybe the engineers at Bosch should look into this.

Water flooding out

Hi KellyW,

The dishwasher drain hose may be clogged.  When the dishwashr starts up can you hear the water running into the Sink faucet drain. If not inspect the hose that attaches to the Sink Drain for restrictions.  Also in the bottom of the dishwasher you should have a filter.  If this filter is clogged you cannot expel water.  Clean the filter.
