I cannot get downloaded ringtones to work on my lg incite.

There is Chance for your Mobile may locked to Some Network,So that it not recognizing the Sim,....You better Unlock it if you know that it locked to Particular Network,You can reach here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/lg-incite-/rs7wp9/

You may want to try a different battery. If that doesnt work you will need to have the phone replaced.

if you take out your battery, then put the battery back in it should unfreeeze.

try to reset the phone by picking the reset hole on the side of the phone (i use a staple) the touchscreen should be a bit better to press the unlock button. hope this helps!

LG CT810 has a size limitation of 300K for ringtone... you must have mp3 file that over the limited size, so it won't show up.

Reduce the size by lower the mp3 sound quanlity and then you are good to go. Simply save it in "My Documents" folder and it will show.

First of all, the ringtone can only be a maximum of 300 KB which is about 20 seconds long. If the ringtone is larger than this, than it can't be used as a ringtone. After having the ringtone on the phone, you can go to my pictures and videos, and then click on the tab in the upper left corner and go to my documents and my ringtones. This should be where the ringtones are stored on the phone. You can find the ringtone on the phone and copy and paste it to this spot, or you can simply drag and drop the ringtone from your computer to this location if it is hooked up via USB. (but, the phone will not work on the computer until the installation cd is used that came with the phone.

Well it's because DRM. The easiest way is tranfer ringtones through pc. as it's an wm6.1 device various formats can be used (wav,.mp3 etc).

Download the file install_fp6_ppcax_en.exe from the website http://download.macromedia.com onto your LG Incite and install it.
