We have just experienced an FA audible error on our Diplomat ADP 8332 dishwasher...after pulling the dishwasher out and removing the low front panel we found the drip tray full of water. We tipped the dishwasher onto it's front and removed the drip tray and found a float pressure switch...it appears that once the drip tray is full the float switch activates and causes the FA fault (prevents the dishwasher from continuing) drain off your drip tray replace all covers and you should be good to go!!

I have a Diplomat ADP 8912 integrated dishwasher which does not have a digital display (so does not display an error code). We have just moved in so new to the machine. It beeps twice when we shut the door on any selected programme and sounds like it is trying to pump? After 5 mins it stops completely. Have taken filter out which is clean anyway but there is a little water in where the filter sits. Any ideas? Can't find a manual online anywhere.

SOURCE: Dishwasher; Diplomat 8322. Set it to wash on any

Apparently there is a sensor above the normal water level where it drains. The water level rises above the sensor if the filter is full of gunge and the water cannot drain properly. The sensor is activated and stops the cycle. You have to remove the filter mesh, clean it, drain out the excess water (I did this with a turkey baster!) and replace the filter. Then everything works again!

SOURCE: Error code FA diplomat model

This fixed mine, the base was flooded. I took off the bottom front pannel and discovered it full of water and sludge, I mopped it out and cleaned it the best i could and made sure that none of the wires/connections were wet. (I unplugged it first ! ). Then put the cover back on and tried it.
Works like a dream now.

I know this is better late than never but i've been searching half the morning for an answer and only just found a suggestion that steered me in that direction. So i thought i'd answer this so that someone else might not waste the morning like i have.

Have Fun

SOURCE: Diplomat intergrated dishwasher error code FA

Hi,

The wash cycle finishes too early and
the p / 6 indicator light flashes
(fault code F A appears in the
display)
– the drain hose is kinked
– the drain pump is blocked
* Turn the program selector to the f
*STOP" position (the fault code goes
out).
* Correct the fault.
* Pump away the water and start the
program again (see additional
program "DRAIN" and "Switching
on").

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to rate me as fixya..

SOURCE: I have a Diplomat Dishwasher which goes through

get model number on machine, post it here so we know which machine it is or search internet for "diplomat error codes", enter your model number and error code and it will tell you what it is. Each machine has different error codes.

SOURCE: what does error code fa

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. You can identify the error only if you can run thrrough the functions of the dishwasher. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turn around to inject with pressure. If so the pump must be checked for clogging.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Diplomat dishwasher ADP 8322 - previously not draining but neither was the sink and I've unblocked that which is now working fine. When I put it on it bleeps continuously after about 5 minutes

Hello Simon,

No water in the tub would indicate the drain is clear (unless it never filled at all...have you confirmed? Do you hear water leaving the unit?).

Those bleeps and flashing lights are of course the machines desperate effort to tell you it's problems and the code may be in the owners manual or a call to the manufacturer.

I'm a big one for checking grunge accumulation and would ensure the discharge hose is clear. This gets back to hearing water leaving the machine. You may need to pull the unit to check the hose, although a common blockage is right at the connection to your disposal.

Also, check for debris under the filter screen in the bottom of the tub, another place detritus accumulates.

All the best.

Diplomat intergrated dishwasher error code FA

FA is a problem with the tubidity sensor. By holding down the power button, it stops, but just repeats everytime you try a new wash cycle. So keep doing it and you can atleast use it. If you want to go one step further and find a permanent solution try feeling around in the sump (where the filter slots in) being careful for any broken glass. Other than that it will probably be a strip-down job to examine the internal hoses and the pump; not a DIY job to be honest.

Diplomat dishwasher

It is likely the door switch is faulty and not letting the dishwasher start the cycle. Need to have the full model number and make of dishwasher to advise further.

My Diplomat dishwasher ADP8352 keeps stopping

Switch off the machine at your plug end and switch ON.

Check incoming water flow. Check and fill rinse-aid liquid in the dispenser. Check dish washer salt dispenser and fill.

These are the only actions an user can try.

Got a Diplomat ADP8322. Starts Cycle then starts bleeping 3 flashes which is a heating error. No hot water at all. Had a look and cleaned watr pressure switch still not working. Any ideas has the heating...

possibly heating element - only way to find out is to check continuity with a multimeter.
there is also a thermal cutout in series with the heater which could also have gone

Diplomat ADP8322 problem

Hi,

I had the same problem. its apparently due to a sensor that thinks the overflow tray (in the very bottom) has water in it..... I checked, and mine didn't....... but I found that putting the machine on a pre-wash, then doing the main wash worked everytime.....

Hope this helps
