My crappy Benq stopped working too just 10 minutes ago. I just can't turn it on again. Not light no whatsoever. It looks like it wouldn't get power ar all. Any suggestions on what to do?

Some problem. However I had a power surge and the monitor powered off. I hit the power button and nothing. When I played with the power cord, the power light came on then off again.

Any suggestions on whats wrong?

check your horizontal output..if its ok check the regulator, diodes if shorted change it with disame value or part number. try to measure the B+ make sure that is more than 200V DC.

Hi, My picture just collapsed and the power light went out. The mains lead and the surge fuse on the main board are both ok, there are no visual signs of damage but there is a ticking sound which only stops when the mains lead is pulled out no matter which position the on/off switch is in. The CRT cathode heaters are NOT lit, so could this be a Low Tension problem?

I have the same problem. My screen flashed white for a second then the monitor shut off. The power light doesn't even come on. I tried changing the power cord with an identical model, still no luck.

same problem here. the monitor is about 4.5 years old. woke up this morning and had no power. at first, i could wiggle the power cord on the monitor end (slightly pulling it out) to restore power. it then powered off in about 5 seconds and it has no power at all. it's plugged in, and i tried switching cords. nothing. not even an orange light.

is it an internal short? this sucks. 300 dollar.
