Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Recieve message on screen -Open door clear carriage jam and then press enter. There is no jam, I have checked several times. I have also tried unplugging usb cord for 10 seconds. Please help! Brenda
The Non - Volatile memory of the printer needs to be Erased..
1. Turn the printer on.
2. Unplug the power cord on the back of the printer.
3. Press & hold # and 9 key simultaneosly while connecting the power cord on the back of the printer....Donnot release the keys for about 15 seconds after connecting power .
The turn the printer on If it turns off & follow the instruction......
If this will not resolve the printer needs to be serviced.

Did you open the door on the back of the fax?

There may be a sensor flag out of place or a small piece of paper let somewhere in the paper path.
