Question about Pioneer DEH-P6900UB CD Player
Hi, just recently I have found that the face for my car stereo no longer clicks on to the unit, it still functions but i can only see the display when i press and hold it in. I think I may have broken something on the back, can I get this replaced without getting a new face for the stereo? thanks
It sounds like you broke the latch built into the player, but just in case you didnt take the face off and the side that goes in last in the player look for a clasp and see if you can move it with your finger if not you will have to clean it it is supposed to move back and forth without sticking. if no clip then its broken. and just to get by if its broken wedge a small peice of paper between the face and the radio. to hold it in place so the display works, until you can find the part at pioneer.
