Check you have no 'Fun Filters' selected - its the only place I have seen 4 split images on my Logi webcam It will be within the 'Video Effects' menu ( 2 theatre masks ) Start your cam in 'Quick Capture' first ( 2 film frames with 1 head and shoulder pic )
Failing that I suggest you re-install from the website
Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page. Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"
In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to download Microsoft DirectX 9 or later to support your webcam
Procedure Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software Disconnect your webcam Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer Restart computer Download the Installation package from Logitech Run the installer and choose your options - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must. Connect your webcam when prompted.
Double click on Logitech - Use the 'Advanced' mode - Revo will make a Restore Point and then uninstall Messenger using the Logitech uninstall software. It will then scan your C drive and Registry for all fragments and files that failed to uninstall. Delete everything it finds Restart computer
Visit the Logi website - click on your cam and download the Installer
Use the sales toll free number on the Logitech web site. Tech assistance number was not working correctly yesterday, Feb.7. I called the toll free and a nice sales rep. connected me to customer service/tech support.
