your timer is toast.

Sounds like it may be related to the installation of the new vid card. I'd take it back to the shop where I had it worked on and tell them the problems your experiencing and tell them they screwed it up and you want it fixed-pro bono!

Hi tracie23368... There's a wireless toggle on the front to control to rurn on the onboard Atheros 802.11b/g WLAN module. All you should have to do is push that toggle in the front of your machine to the right or to the left and hold for a few seconds which will turn on the Atheros wireless card in your laptop. Then it should hook to your wireless router. Note...If you have the security set on the wireless, it will have to be also set in the laptop to be able to hook to your router Please take time to rate me thumbs up

If you have another monitor you can connect it to the laptop. It should automatically recognize the external monitor.

In ur laptop right click the C: and click properties ,then select disk cleanup follow the instruction and delete the unwanted files like temp files, cookies ,etc and ur system will increase its speed

if the windows is no longer starting you need to reinstall it from the cd or recovery media that came with the computer.

You will need to find out the model number aswell, ie "A105-S101".

Once you have that, head along to the Toshiba website here : http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp#. Click on the download menu at the top. Select 'Portables' in the first list, then 'Satellite' in the second list, then your model number in the right hand list. Then click GO.

On the resulting page, click on 'Users Guide' in the submenu. Or the 'Detailed Specs'.

start here.... you can download your user guide ... also drivers for that computer.... make sure you have the correct sound card driver.

Try to find the correct driver from Toshiba for the driver, your current one wont work for the dvd.
