Is this a MS-7184 problem? My son's computer has a wavy screen, so I replaced the CRT monitor with a new flat screen. Still wavy. Next, I replaced the onboard video card with a PCI card and nothing shows up on the monitor (neither CRT or flat screen). When I start up with F1, I still have a wavy screen (both monitors)

Did you connect the screen to the graficcard after you installed it? Just checking so u didnt accedently connect the screen to the port on the motherboard since its easy done.

you need to install drivers with the new video card but first you must uninstall the old one-definately a driver issue(assuming all cables are good,etc)
