In acer laptop i am getting blue screen error code is 0000000007

Try to restart the computer in Last known good configuration from the Advance boot options by restarting the computer using F8 key continuously.
If doesn't work then put in the Windows CD.
If Windows XP :
Restart the computer and keep tapping F12.
From boot menu highlight CD/DVD or IDE CD ROM or USB CD ROM.
Keep on pressing enter on it until get the screen loading files.
Then on the first Welcome page press "R"
If you have a dual-boot or multiboot system, select the installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console.
Enter the Admin password if dont have any password then leave blank and press enter.
Then type the command chkdsk drive /p /r
(drive is the partition on which windows is installed, C: or D:)
It will take around 30 to 45 mins to complete then restart the computer.

I am operating window xp on my laptop... because only xp can support some special type of software ... But it needs drivers of xp... where i can get the graphic and sound driver.......... pls tell me...

Hi,

I believe you downgraded the Operating System from Windows 7. If that so, Lenovo Warranty support will no longer support the Operating System that you install on that computer. There will be a possibility also that the Operating System that you install will not be compatible with the machine itself. This is the exact link where you can dowload the drivers for you machine not only for the graphic and sound driver but all the drivers designated for the machine with Windows XP Operating System -

http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en/DriversDownLoads/APR_Driver_List.aspx?CategoryID=67873&OS=Windows%20XP

1. Download the video driver.

2. Restart the laptop.

3. Download the sound driver.

4. Restart the laptop.

You will need to restart the laptop for each and every driver that you will install for the changes to take effect

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa...

These steps are similar to other Windows OS installations (Vista, Windows 7).
Below is the detailed procedure of installing Microsoft Windows XP:
  • Before installing Windows XP or any other operating system, you should backup all your data. Data can be backed up on a separate partition, if the hard disk is partitioned or you can back it up on external storage devices like CDs or on a network.
  • Restart the computer and go to the Setup menu by pressing F2 and change the first boot device to CD, press Esc and save settings.
  • Insert the CD labeled Microsoft Windows XP into the computer and restart the computer.
  • When the pc restarts, a message will appear telling you to press any key to boot from CD, press a key immediately the message appears and the setup process will begin.
  • After the files have been loaded, Windows will start and it will give you an option of repairing using Recovery Console by pressing “R” or continue with setup by pressing “ENTER”; press enter to continue with setup.
  • Setup will list all your disk partitions, highlight the partition where you want to install Windows, this is mainly partition “C”, press “D” to delete the partition, then press “L” to confirm.
  • Highlight the partition you deleted, and then press “C” to create a new partition, press “ENTER” to create the partition.
  • Press “ENTER” again to install Windows on the New (Raw) Partition you have created.
  • Format the partition using NTFS file system.
  • After format has completed, Windows will restart and setup will prompt you to boot from CD again. Ignore the message and let setup continue automatically.
  • Follow the next steps which will ask you to setup the system Time and Date, Network and enter a serial key, until setup finishes.
  • After setup has finished, Windows will restart and will welcome you for the first time; Microsoft Windows XP will have successfully been installed on your computer.

Sir/ Madam,

We need to have a windows xp cd to proceed with further trouble shooting. As we need to go to recovery console to fix this issue..

You need to boot from windows xp cd .
and then choose R to go to recovery console follow the below steps -:
  1. Insert the Windows XP CD into your CD drive and restart your computer. If you are prompted, select any options required to start (boot) from the CD.
  2. When the text-based part of Setup begins, follow the prompts. Select the repair or recover option by pressing R.
  3. If you have a dual-boot or multiboot system, select the installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console. most of the time press 1 and enter .
  4. When you are prompted, type the Administrator password. Most of the time there is not password hence just hit enter..
Then type the below command
chkdsk /p it might take around 3 min to complete then it will show some errors . after this use
chkdsk /r it might take long time approx 45 Min or more depending on your hard drive. Restart the computer it should fix the issue . If issue doensnt fix then you need to do a repair installation.

To do a repair its the same procedure boot from the cd and choose the R after the agreement page .

Thank you
