I loaned my hk-206 speakers to a friend and when I got them back the power adapter was missing. He says I can just go get one at Radio Shack but I don't know the specs. The only thing I've found says 25 watts.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Hi jpatchez
I can give you the answer - I found your question while looking for the same power supply for my HK206 speakers. I then found the power supply in a drawer so I can give you the exact specs you need as follows:
Output Voltage: 12V DC
Output Current: 1000mA
Polarity: Centre pin positive
Good luck!
Pollenator
Its 12V 1000Ma (1.0A) I work in radioshack... IN fact Im dealing with this problem as I speak... I need the Polarity for this however, otherwise theres a 50 50 chance this might get blown.
Hi, jpatchez
Well, you need to see at back, of your old power supply, the 6Watt total power,. but you also check for a good inverter PS, 6W, and check the AMP on your speakers.RadioShack there is a lot power converters, for speakers.
Good Luck
