D10 is shorted. HER304 in middle of Power supply board near large electrolytic cap. Replace with Radio Shack 276-1144 3A 400PIV Diode. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH HIGH VOLTAGE PRESENT ON POWER SUPPLY BOARD. UNPLUG POWER CORD!!! OBSERVE PROPER POLARITY WHEN REPLACING DIODE-LOOK WHERE THE BAND IS.

Bought a Memorex MLTD 2622 TV mid 2008 and had problems with dvd almost at once. Power supply failed in just over a year. A new supply cost about $180. This may be the same model as a Polaroid TDX-02610B LCD TV. I would not pay to fix what appears to be a piece of junk from China.
You might try to plug it in then hold the remote power button for a minute while you unplug. Give it 5 minutes and plug it in and try again.

cable power, fuse have to be checked . very carefully inside TV power can kill you even if it is unplugged.
