Ok I have replaced the fuel filter in my lumina which i was mistaken its a 1990 but still its running rough is there anything else I should try to remedy this problem, later on today I am goin to try injector cleaner please help thanks

mass air flow sensor?? but its a 1990 and the price of fuel it must be more economic to buy another car ,try paying our europeon fuel prices nearly 2 dollars a litre -- yes a litre
For 1990 Chevrolet Truck Lumina Van 3.1L TBI 6cylthe Fuel Filter is located:
Under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, front of fuel tank, mounted on chassis in fuel line
Is the filter on correctly? and if runs yes there is a filter inside the tank to. also since the prior owner did nothing to this car could be dirt inthe lines or the tank as well.
check the air filter too.
No spark issue can be from a number of causes. Most likely the crankshaft position sensor. It is sensitive to minor damages. check position of the teeth. If bent carefully straighten. Also can be the ECM (main computer) On cars with no fuel pressure check oil sending unit because a faulty one that tells no oil pressure will make computer cut out fuel pump operation.
