Ram change, how?

I have the same notebook. How should I access the RAM? I could not remove the grey cover over the keyboard. Thank you.

remove the cover (with buttons) above the keyboard by gently prizing it off with a small screwdriver at either end.

lift the keyboard off and the ram is hidden under a silver plate held in place with two small screws.

Hey there. Had the same problem. The memory is under the keyboard. To get to it do this.

1. There's a small hole on the Right side of the panel above the keyboard. I thought that was a microphone hole, it's not. Stick a pin, paperclip or whatever will fit into the hole and slide the panel to the Left.

2. The keyboard will now slide up and out. Be careful of the ribbon cable in the bottom right.

3. The memory is under the aluminum cover near the center. There are two screws 1 long, 1 short that will remove the cover.

Reverse the above to put it back together.
