Problem I recently got some new ringtones from someone through bluetooth and I was able to get them fine but when I am trying to apply them as a ringtone  there is no option in my phone for that I can only do apply what comes with the phone but I know I can apply the ringtones that I got from someone as my ringtones cause my sister has the same phone

I do not get the option to apply the ringtone I created on my new phone. This is what I did:

    1. menu

    2. media

    3. Audio

    4. (new voice record)

I do not get the option (under "options") to apply this recording as a ringtone, like I can with the factory-supplied ringtones. Under "properties", however, it indicates that my new recording is "apply possible".

So, my question is: how do I apply it?

    Many thanks

    Maggie

1. Press Menu
2. Scroll to and Select Messages
3. Scroll to and Select Create
4. Scroll to and Select SMS/EMS or MMS or MMS Templates
5. Scroll to and Select Insert
6. Scroll to and Select Sound
The ringtone download is through EMS or MMS. When you receive the EMS and MMS from another party, you can retrieve the ringtone from an EMS or MMS message. You can also send the ringtone by sending an EMS or MMS.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Cannot apply mp3 ringtones as ringers

U really need the phone tools disk to change your songs into useable clips. This phone won't play a full song as a ringtone, only clips. THe software is really easy to use and you can find it on ebay fairly cheap, just make sure to enter the correct phone into the software for correct support. Good luck!

Motorola V750 cant get ringtones for free?

You can txt yourself the sound and when you receive the txt you save it as a ringtone. If you have a computer with bluetooth capability you can send ringtones that you can make yourself through bluetooth. I use create-a-ringtones.com, make my own and transfer them to my phone. If anyone else wants the ringtone I just txt it to them. I just did about 18 ringtones for my husband and he has the motorola adventure v750.

Can't send ringtones via bluetooth

No. The purpose of them locking the ringtones that are purchased is to prevent people from sending them to others. What you can do instead is visit http://www.funformobile.com/ and download ringers/pictures/etc and then transfer them to your z3 via the USB cable. Then you can transfer whatever you want to whoever you want whenever you want. :)

Downloading a ringtone

try to transfer a sound thru your bluetooth then if that works then something is wrong with the phones' firmware....so you would have to get the phone's firmware reflash.

When a ringtone is bluetoothed to me, it shows file is corrupt

you need to do a master clear on your phone ... you would loose ur pictures and any downloaded stuff, but your wouldn't get that file corrupt error again. Somehow your software probably got a glitch.Try the master clear or the master reset in settings and hopefully as i said this would clear the problem. You can then go ahead and try to bluetooth any files your want to. Sam !
