-   Hi, have tried the your solution, but it hasnt solved the problem. Have also tried other solutions - mainly holding ok, cancel, colour b&w. Some times they work, most times they dont. The only solution I have found is to decide not to print what I need to that day and leave it a few days. Then one or the other solutions might work. The problem resolves eventually, but the next time I want to print I have to repeat the whole process.
HP were no help - other than telling me it needed fixing. Is there a more permanent solution? And if I take it somewhere to get 'fixed' am I going to get the same problem again in a few months?
Thanks-   sr76

An 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel. The printer cannot copy, receive faxes, or print. Turn the printer off. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Remove the ink cartridges. Wait a couple of minutes. Plug the power cord back in, turn on the printer. Install the ink cartridges when prompted. If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved
