my washer makes a squeaking sound while on the spin cycle and doesn't seem to spin as fast as it used to. When I open the lid it stops spinning very quickly (unlike before) The tub also does not release all of the water. Is it the pump or the belts? It seems to work well during the wash cycle though

Waht u need to do is get a bucket now take the outlet hose and place it into it low to the ground if water comes out then it will be that your pump is faulty and needs replacing but if it doesnt the only way to do it is towels on the floor and with a low pan place this under the sump hose which should be in the middle of your drum which then leads to the pump pull slowly but not enough for the water to push the hose of do this until empty the only other way is to take it outside and pull the outlet hose of this is the quicker and dryiest out of them all but do do the first part to c if the pump is faulty m8

Possible that the speed is of the spin is not enough, check the belt , check for friction to the shaft in the washer.
finally check the drain valve /pump as if there is water logged on without flushing then the valve is clogged or dirty.

My GE Profile Harmony dryer won't dry. The drum is turning but the clothes just won't dry. Circuit breaker is not tripped.

Frequently there's an obstruction in the vent duct from the dryer to the outside of the house. For the dryer to heat properly, the duct must be clean and clear of lint or any other substance. Your dryer has some internal ductwork. If it gets clogged, your dryer can't dry properly. In most dryers, to get to the internal ductwork to clear the clog, you have to substantially disassemble the dryer. A quick way to check for internal clogs is to remove the lint filter and use a flashlight to inspect the inside of the duct.

The GE Profile Dishwasher does not drain completely. The bottom drain shows no obvious clog and the screens are clear. The overflow drain in the back of the washers the only reason the dishwasher does not...

Uncouple the drain hose connection under the sink and use a wet/dry vacuum to **** out the drain hose and the stub on the sink drain plumbing to clear any possible clogs. There may be a blocked check valve near the pump that might have to be cleaned or replaced. Check the hose itself for any kinks or collapsed section. There might be a damaged drain impeller on the pump. Hope this helps!

Washing machine will not drain

Hi
The drain line is probably clogged. Maybe that a sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. In this case it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump.Remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out. In case it clean there, check the outer tub port- open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, try to remove the clothing through the port.

Not Draining

Your pump, or the hose between the drum and pump, might be clogged.  Check it out.  You might find coins from unemptied pockets.

Fixing a clogged pump on GE Profile washer

Take a putty knife and slide it in between the front panel and top to pop the clips that hold on the top. Remove the front panel and you will see the pump down in the front corner. Remove the hoses (watch for water) and you should see any clog. Check hoses and drain line (home) to be sure there is no clog in those while you have it apart. Be sure to unplug your machine before working on it as well. Good Luck!!! Jim
