Re: No power fuses all good help!

I would say it's the main power supply. Try looking for a short in there using a multimeter

AIWA NSX-AVF77 bookshelf has no power anymore what can be worng with it?

Check to see if it has a fuse. Check your power card and make sure it is good. If it dose not have a fuse to replace & the power cord is good then your ac/dc board is bad and will not convert AC to DC to power the unit.

Where is fuse located

Remove the back panel of the unit. If the fuse replacement blows again as soon as you turn the unit back on, you might have to troubleshoot the power supply. Good luck Mike!

Bass dont work

Fuses blow when there's an overload. These are often caused by the power transistors or in some models a Power IC, both of which can be found on the large heatsink. You will find that this time one of these has developed a fault that doesn't blow a fuse. You should be aware that the biggest cause of these problems is faulty wiring or a faulty speaker or in some cases the wrong type speakers being used. Incorrect ohms, say 4ohm speakers fitted when they should be 8ohms is another cause.

Aiwa z-l700 won't switch on?

1. Verify you really have power at the outlet. If so...
2. You will need to open up the main boby of the device (amp portion).
3. On the circuit board where the power plug comes in, you need to look for a fuse or fuses. Do you know how to check these? This is most likely the problem. Good Luck!

To my knowledge, an F61 error is a blown fuse. A workaround is to replace the fuse with the same value but specify slow blow.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Open or leaking components will look OK but, may not function as designed. Rather than create more problems, please consider whether the unit is worth repairing by a pro/tech, if so, do so.

Was the fuse Blown?? check with an ohm meteracross the two prongs that you plug into the wall of course you gotta unplug it for this. It should read around 4 to 10 ohms depending on the type of power transformer is in the unit.. If it reads open then theres a fuse open or a bad power transformer. If its not open check the power supply for the proper voltage from the diagram. Good luck
