Universal Remote Control cannot find code

My son has lost his remote control that came with the Durabrand BH2004D Color TV. We purchased a RCA Universal Remote Control and cannot get any of the codes to work, the devise number is RCU600D.

PLEASE HELP!

I have the RCA RCU600D remote and i cannot get it to work with any codes listed for my Panasonic DVD-RV20 dvd player. Any ideas???
