Sometimes the squeaks come from the drum inside the cartridge. If you remove the cartridge and power on and don't hear the squeaks, it's in the cartridge and not the printer...

Mower squeeking - mowing as usual, and it's squeeking, checked oil, it has oil in it, what else should I check, mower 1 year old, I've done minimal maintenance on it. and can't find my owners manual.

Does it squeek when at an idle, or when driving, or cutting? Does it cut fine? I would check the belts and pulleys and blades for extra play. I had a mandrel bearing go bad on my ys4500 (also about a year old) and the first symptom was a squeeling sound when the blades were enguaged. Play in the mandrel caused the belt to squeek at the pulley that turns the blade. It also cut some nice gouges in my yard due to a floppy blade. I hope that this helps, I got the answers to my problem here on fixya.com.

I believe that one can find a downloadable .pdf version of the owners manual with a quick google search.

good luck

Squeeking at brake pedal

Yes that boot comes off. I would not mess with it. I would take a oil can and slide it under the boot and oil it. Or you can buy a new rod and stem that will work also. they are farely cheap and will already come pre-lubed

Squeeks from front end, 1999 explorer sport

you did not indicated when the squeek occurs. If you turn the steering wheel and there is a dry squeek look at the tie rod ends. If you bounce the truck and the squeek is heard look at the stabilizer bar bushings {most common cause } If this is the cause, lubing them is a temporary fix they should be replaced.

Huskystar squeeks when sewing

They occasionally need oiling. You should have received a tube of oil when the machine was purchased. If you don't have any, try to find Tri Flow oil available at bicycle shops or Amazon.com. If you are unable to find it, you can use machine oil but not 3n1 oil. These are excellent machines and I still have mine. It may be well worth having it serviced at an authorized husqvarna viking dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

Squeeking fan on power ventilation my unit is a AW1400A/XAA, when I turn unit on it squeeks. It sounds like its in the squirrel cage or fan.

Hi there!

This is almost certainly a dry bearing on the fan motor. If there is little or no oil on there, a little rust may form and the next time this is powered up, the rust comes off - but is polished onto the bearing - creating the squeek.

Buy a can of maintenance oil in a pressurised can, and squirt some on the bearings at each end of the motor. It doesn't matter if it drips or runs down anything. If there are 2 separate motors - you need to oil 4 places.

If the unit is very old, it may use a motor with brushes. I'll give more details if the oil doesn't work.

Thanks for using Fixya - and if this works, please rate as such.
