I have been using the subject projector for 5+ years with absolutely no problems.
Today I was giving a presentation and we broke for lunch. I went to turn the unit off by pressing the power key twice as always. The unit would not turn off and all of the keys were not having any effect on their repsective operation.
I finally ended up unplugging the unit, plugging it back in and turning it on. This time the bulb would not light but the coolng fan started up. I was also not able to turn the unit off again.
I again unplugged the unit and plugged it in again. This time, the unit would not power up at all and the fan/temp & lamp/cover led's began blinking. They've never come on until today.
Do you guys have any idea as to what's going on with this projector?

keypad buttons probably need a good service.
you say you pushed power key twice
did you leave a small pause between each push
get a tech to checkout underneath keypad buttons to make sure that the contacts are clean.
