Re: psp is not reading my umds. movies, games...etc. any...
If you have already tried to read different umds and it still does not work.....i would suggest you remove the battery.....completely restart the unit....if at that time it still does not read umds....u either have a dirty lens or your unit is possibly faulty......you could attempt to clean with Q-tip and alcohol and retry

If you have custom firmware, make sure your "execute boot.bin" and "plain modules" are both disabled under your advanced configuration settings of the recovery menu. Also, make sure your ISO/CSO games are saved in the ISO Folder of your memory stick and that your UMD MODE is set to NO UMD REQUIRED. Your PBP Games should be saved in your PSP/GAME Folder.
Hi! I incounter this problem as well even without UMD its still loading and even I disable auto-start UMD still same so I tried reflashing the software but still same problem so I discover the solution before you turn-on your PSP try to open your UMD cover you'll see it will load faster then close again the cover once you see the battery and clock icon... The problem that causing this is the switch inside the UMD possible its stock-up or spoiled already!
