My psp L trigger doesn't work... and when i press it again and again it will work.. and then the other it won't work again.. is it a dust problem inside of it or what...thanks

It could be dust problem..if the warranty is over you can dismantle the console and try dusting the interiors with a silk brush...dont use water for cleaning,,,if this doesnt helps you can try replacing the rubber bush below the switch.be sure to get an appropriate one..(please dismantle only if you feel confident enough or else seek the help of expert friends..or an electric service shop will do that for you for nominal cost..

MY psp keeps locking without the lock switch on how do i fix that

first, JUST TRY to dismantle it by yourself, try to see whats wrong in the inside, it may be just a faulty lever or something that leads to the switch of the lock button. if you can't dismantle cause you care for it so much, take it to a sony repair store. they''ll know what to do. oh and if you are successful in dismantling it. try to see if there's any abnormalities inside an on the switches and stuff.

PSP wont read games

Did you ever drop it? Usually if a PSP will not read UMD's, either the laser is dirty or it has been moved. If you dropped it, the laser has probably been moved. You'd have to take the whole entire thing apart to move the laser back, assuming you knew the position it should be in in the first place. Even if you have dropped it, the first thing I would do is to pick up a UMD drive cleaning kit for around $10 and try that. If that does not work, I would suggest sending it to be repaired. I hope this helps!

Wont stay on

got this same problem before, dropped a psp and after that it only powers on for a while and turns off.soon i found out that the main board is twisted.when i bend the psp a little bit it turns on normally, but when i release the prissure from the grip it shuts down.the best solutiion for that is to dismantle the psp and reheat the main board using a hot air machine for about 3 min.for the mother board to return to its original position.

Memory stick won't go in

The only way that I know of is to dismantle the PSP or send it in for repair. Taking the PSP apart is a very long process and although it is reasonably easy, the screws can easily be lost and it is easy to forget where everything goes when putting it back together. I would reccomend putting a small screwdriver in the card slot to find out if there is something stuck in it but you cannot tell what you are doing and the contacts for the memory stick are quite fragile and you could easily damage them.

If you are prepared to take the PSP apart then post a comment and I can guide you throught the process.

Hope this helps
