Re: DGB-600 will not brew

The unit has either wiring connection problem internally or the internal motor is blown, it can only be found once the appliance is opened.

Shutting itself off

There are a couple reasons that the B70 might stop in the middle of brewing so one cannot be certain. The first one is where there are calcium carbonate deposits on the heating element and as the water in the boiler is agitated during pumping there is inadequate heating from the heating element and the thermostat shuts the brewing off when cooler water rises to the thermostat. Try running a mixture of 50/50 white vinegar through the unit a couple timesxto dissolve the calcium deposits or descale the unit per Keurig instructions. Secondly, it could be a faulty thermostat. If you are not handy, mechanically oriented I suggest buying a new one is best, least expensive. I believe that keurig coffee makers are able to brew 5000 cups without a problem. However our experience is that units with more than 5000 brews are prone to leakage, electricalr problems.

Hi, My Gaggia Titanium shows a Brew unit missing error. I have tried everything i can think of; - cleaned the inside - removed and inserted brew unit multiple times - switched machine on/off (including...

Try taking the brew unit out, and clean the area inside the machine for coffee grains before reinserting it. There's a tiny sensor for if the unit is inserted, but it can be confused if the machine gets messy inside.

Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker won't heat up. It turns on but no coffee is brewed. heat plate is cold and water stays in resevior. Is it worth fixing? Can it be fixed?

It may be. Unplug the machine and take it apart. Find the thermal fuse. It is usually on one of the power wires near the plate. Check it with an ohmmeter or continuity tester. Replace it if it is open (no continuity) I'm not sure if they still do, but Radio Shack used to sell the fuses.

Pour o matic pours water through filter even if un plugged is it just full and needs to get rid of the h2o

The unit has a tank used to heat the water for brewing.
When you add more water, the unit starts the brew cycle.

Saeco Italia SUP021 YR green lights and red water light flashing

You can't manually reset. The machine will have to do it. I had the same problem, two green flashing lights with one red (water) all 3 would just keep flashing and not turn solid. No coffee can be made or hot water. I could not pump prime. The problem was the steam wand was blocked with old milk residue. It needs unblocking or you will never pump prime. I could not unscrew the steam I let it sink in a glass full of hot water for a few minutes and then turned the water knob counter clockwise to push out the softened residue. After that, everything was good. When water started flowing out of the steam wand, the red light turned off and the green lights turned solid. The obvious answer to why you can't pump prime is there is a blockage somewhere and best to start with the steam wand. --Mabada

Saeco Incanto - No water through the coffee brewer

Check the line where the water goes to the brew unit(be careful), disconnect and try to brew coffee, if water exits then the blockage is elsewhere, check the line where it goes into the white plastic valve behind brew unit, if water flows then check the brew unit make sure it is not blocked at the screen.

No coffee coming out, just hot water

Two questions:
1- Is the coffee grounds wet or dry?
2- Does the spout drip water when the machine is just heating up?
If the grounds are dry then the brew chamber is not getting any water. Turn machine off, let it cool down, then remove brew unit. Behind the brew unit there is a white valve with 2 red o-rings(sometimes black), if you look closely there is a small lever between the o-rings, get a small screwdriver and gently lift lever and spring, if water came out then the problem is in the brew unit, unscrew the stainless steel screen which is under the large red O-ring on the brew unit and clean, also make sure the tube on the unit is clear.
If the hot water spout is not dripping when the machine is heating up then you're good.
