Re: Help Me?

Ok when you plug in you sansa don't turn on the power just plug it in then open up My computer at the bottom you should see you sandisk in the bottom somewhere called F drive depending on how many drives you have in your computer, Once you find it double click on it and open it up you should be able to load and update from that, I sure hopes that helps you out I don't have very much info on your problem but if that does not work for you let me know I'll find out why its not working with just a little more info, feel free to get back to me at my email address we will find a solution to this if that don't work, Thanks bear001

My sansa mp3 only begins to turn on when i connect it to the pc but then freezes when it says 'Sansa m250 2.0 Gb' please help

Look further than the batteries. Take the whole thing apart. That's what I do, and I've fixed a lot of things. And keep looking on the internet. A few hours of looking can result in years of listening.

My Sansa fuze mp3 player has become unresponsive and the screen has gone white (blank)... It does not respond even if I connect it to the computer. It does not turn off...What's wrong and how can it be...

it should turn off if you hold the reset (on) switch in the on position for ten to fifteen seconds. if that doesn't work, try downloading the firmware update. but be careful, i had the same problems, and when i downloaded the ruined the mp3 player, and sansa would not help

Cannot seem to synch songs to my Sansa e260 (4G) from a CD

In Windows Media Player, go to the little black arrow under the Rip tab --> Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3

Now, re-rip those CD's and transfer them to your player

Can not down load voice recording to computer: Sansa 280.

You can try few simple steps like changing the USB ports, turning off & turning on the mp3 player and then reconnecting it, and then changing the USB mode on device: Menu --> Settings --> USB mode: MSC or MTP
If these don't work, try the steps here: Sansa e250 Not Detected in PC

Mp3 player restarts whenever i skip a song

try using recovery mode with the sansa.fmt file and update the firmware. this will erase all your music from the device so you will have to reload all your songs but it will probably fix the issue.

SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player will not Recharge

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out:
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.
