How do I get my HP Deskjet Printer (Model 3820v') to print my creations 'full bleed' ?

If you love it (3820) better learn how to clean the service station or it will shear the gears and be done.
See my post under the blinking light problem with 3820s.
I really like the printer and wish someone had told me this before mine broke. No answer for your question, but HP.com should have manuals as a pdf download.

but many setup say between setup plug in printer thn plug in ok.....

Lite stays on but does not print even tho message shows a succcessful print was made.


I took the printer to office depot where they looked at it and said it was an obsolete model that would ccost more to fix tthaan the original printer. They offered me a new hp6500 at a sale price of $99.00 and a tradee in of $50.00 on my 3820 which I promptly grabbed up.

Small print and it prints a whole sheet size like a business card


Try going into the printer settings in Control Panel - printers and faxes and right click on your HP printer. A drop down menu will display and at the bottom of this menu there is a section "properties" click on this and property scrren will display. Click on "printing preferences" and a preference screen will display.
click on "page setup" and set paper size to A4 or whatever size you are using.

Hp deskjet 3820 - have refilled the cartridge and pc wont print


Clean the contacts on the carriage with piece of cotton and then clean the contacts on the cartridge with rubber and try again. If this not help replace the cartridge.

HP Deskjet 3820 states system error


try disconnecting from computer, and run the test page from the panel..then, reconnect to computer and see if it repeats..sounds like the operating system may have lost the printer drivers..
