Question about Kenwood KM400 / KM410 Chef Classic Stand Mixer
This machine was used 5-6 times 10 years ago, then it was stored in a cabinet. Recently given to me I used it and it worked beautifully. However, when I turned it off it smelled like smoke. Could it need oil? If so, what type and where?
It is most likely a burnt out capacitor. They can be replaced for about £30, but it is not a DIY job unless you know a qualified electrician, there is soldering involved!
