Question about Samsung SGH-d807 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Contact list deleted

I was on the phone, had a call waiting, clicked "back" to reject the call, and my phone froze and restarted. When it turned back on, all of the numbers that were saved on my phone in my contact list were gone, and all of my events on my calendar were deleted. Numbers on my sim card are still available, and my media content is still there (photos, videos, etc.). I had used bluetooth earlier that day to to transfer a file to my computer, don't know if that had any affect on the situation. My phone model is a Samsung SGH-d807. My email address is lyons1.chris@gmail.com

thanks
chris

    I have the same problem with losing the info saved to the phone. It seems that the phone will randomly show the message "memory card inserted" and then all the saved to phone info is gone. It also happens consistently when I turn the phone off. Needless to say this problem started right after the warrenty ended.

    i noticed that after the mobile ran out of battery and turned itself off - when i had recharged it my contact list was gone when I turned it back on. I only got it new a few weeks ago - should i take it back?

All you need to do is take the phone and have the firmware reflash, that should take care of any issues like that in the future unless the maniboards are faulty, which would mean that you should purchase new mobiles.

How do i remove contacts from my reject list in samsung E1130?

Why do you want to remove them from the reject list? If you have now started accepting them then all you have to do is to go to the reject list, select the contact and delete it. The name would be deleted from the reject list (and not from the contact list).

Its actually a samsung sgh-j600 problem......

Right bascially what you need to do is. Because ur phone may not have the reject list settings under text message settings. What you need to do is..

go to settings off the phone menu-->

call settings-->

all cals-->

auto reject-->

reject list-->

and then select off the numbers you don't want to have on the reject list!!
