I do not believe the Acers have reset buttons or switches. I have reset the Cmos by removing the cmos battery, shorting the two pins with another cmos plug with the wires connected together. I then powered the motherboard up until the BIOS loaded, but you don't have to, to reset it. I then powered down and removed the shorting plug. I put the motherboard back in the case and rebuilt the laptop. The system booted right up with no password, got into the BIOS and reset the information.
