Without a SIM Card how do I make phone calls and get the Internet plus all other features?

You can find PUK code on the back of your sim card's jacket.
It's an 8-digita code needed to unlock a sim when all tries of PIN code failed. If you have lost sim card jacket, call your service provider from landline or any other mobile. Make sure that the sim in question is registered in your name. After verifying your connection details/ownership, CSR will provide you with PUK code.

The PIN (personal identification number) or PUK (personal unblocking key) are security features provided by your network service.
The PIN and PUK are provided on your SIM package, and can be changed many times. The basic purpose of these codes is to provide a security.These codes are normally used to prevent your SIM card from unauthorized use.
You can get this type of security by enabling the PIN check option in your mobile phone. If this feature is enabled, the phone requires your PIN each time it is switched on.There may be different solutions for your problem.
If you have not changed the original PIN of your SIM then you can get easily this code from the package that has come with your SIM card. Get these codes from SIM package and unlock your mobile phone.But if you have changed your PIN and now have forgotten it then there is also a way to resolve it. When you give an incorrect PIN three times to your mobile phone it will block your SIM card, then in this case you have to provide a PUK given to you by network provider. And you can get your PUK any time by calling at the help line number of your network service center.

Hi, if the phone was registered then you can call your service provider and that will block the phone and it wont be able to be unblocked, if how ever you didnt register the phone with your service provider then all you can do is block the sim card by calling your service provider.
blocking the sim card will stop them accessing your data that is stored onto the sim card.

now the only other way you can block it without having it registered is by having the phones imei number, now the only chance you have of getting this number is if you either registered the phone or if you have still got the box the phone came in as the phones imei number will be printed on a sticker on the box.

failing that all you can do is block the sim card,

call your service provider and see what they can do, if the sim card is still in the phone then they may be able to lock the phone using the sim, they can do this but it all depends on what network you was with, give the police a call as they can block it via imei number if you do have the number or if you dont the best bet would be to call service provider and get the sim card blocked.

Hi the good news is your phone isnt locked the PUK code is the security code for the sim card you have in the phone, now if you want to continue using that sim card then all you need to do is call your service provider or you can sometimes get the PUK code from their web site.
they wont charge for giving you this code all they will ask you is whats the phone number for the sim card or they will ask you for the code written on the sim card, then they will give you the code over the phone so you can use that sim card.

The other option you have is if you dont need to use that sim card then you can just get another sim card and put this in your phone then this wont ask for the code plus when you get a new sim card you get given the PUK code just in case you ever need it.

chances are you want to use the sim card you have in the phone so the first thing to do is have a look on their web site and go to the help or support section and look for the PUK code section you will need to enter the sims phone number then you should get the code.
if you cant find this on their site then just give your service provider a call and they will give you the code over the phone for free, or go in to your nearest orange shop and ask them for your PUK code and they will also give you the code for free as the code is for your sim card so it belongs to you.

once you enter this code you wont be asked for it again unless you have problems with security codes in the future, the PUK code is just a safety feature to stop anybody getting your data such as phone numbers off the sim if your phone is ever stolen, so give them a call and they will sort you out in a matter of minutes.

The position of the SIM card holder depends on your phone model. It might be placed under the battery or on the side of the phone. Before inserting/removing your SIM card, turn off your phone and make sure no charger is connected to the phone. Insert your SIM card according to the illustration that you find close to the SIM card holder.
Note: Without a SIM card, you can't make or receive calls. In some countries you can make emergency calls without a SIM card.

the sim card should work but the phone may not have full functionality ( email, internet, etc) those features may not be in his plan. but he should still be able to make calls
