How do I jailbreak my iPhone 4s

"Jailbreaking" is a process that unlocks your iPhone 4 from iTunes, allowing you to install software from the third-party Cydia application store. The apps on Cydia do not have to pass through Apple's approvals process, and often offer functions that are otherwise prohibited by Apple's terms and conditions. Jailbreaking your iPhone can be achieved by visiting a website in the device's web browser that automatically installs Cydia, and the operating system changes that allow it to run. Jailbreaking your iPhone is entirely legal and safe, but does void the device's warranty with Apple. Download and install the latest version of iTunes onto your computer, following the instructions detailed on the Apple website. Connect the iPhone 4 to your computer using its USB cable, and click the "Sync" button in the lower right corner of the iTunes window. This will back up your iPhone 4 prior to jailbreaking as a safety precaution should you need to restore it. Launch your iPhone 4's "Safari" web browser by tapping its icon on the home screen. Click on the link " " This will take you to the JailbreakMe website. Tap the blue "Free" button in the upper right corner, and then tap it again when it turns green and its text changes to "Install." This will download and install the Cydia app store on your iPhone 4, and begin the jailbreaking process. Launch Cydia by tapping its icon on the home screen once installation has completed. Tap the "Complete Upgrade" button, and Cydia will be updated to the latest version. The iPhone 4 will reboot to complete the jailbreaking procedure. Hope this helps.

How to jailbreak iphone 3g 3.1.2 firmware with blackRa1n

Step 1: Update iTunes to the latest version available and reboot your computer.
Step 2: Download BlackRa1n from our iPhone downloads page and install it, then reboot your PC (note that rebooting is not necessary but I always do this as a precaution).
Step 3: Plug your iPhone to your computer and launch BlackRa1n. Click on “make it ra1n”.
make-it-ra1n.png Step 4: Your iPhone will now enter recovery mode. The regular recovery mode image on your iPhone will be replaced by a picture of GeoHot.

done.png A pop up will show up asking you to donate. If you successfully jailbreak your iPhone, I suggest you send $5 or $10 to GeoHot.
Step 6: Once your iPhone reboots, you will notice a new icon on your springboard. This is BlackRa1n. Now make sure you have internet connection and launch BlackRa1n on your iPhone.

Step 8: Once done installing, your iPhone will respring and you should see your installer app on your springboard.

How to unrestrict you iPhone 3GS to make Voip calls over the 3g network!!!

First of all, you'll need an iPhone 3GS (of course). This trick works for the version 3.1.2 of Apple's firmware. First, you'll need to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS. For that, you'll need to download the blackra1n.exe application from this website:, then you'll need to run the application (nothing complex, just a one-button-easy-process) and wait for your iPhone to reboot (note that after this you won't be able to shutdown your iPhone again, as this is a tethered jailbreak, if you do, it'll restart in restore mode and you'll need to manually boot it again with the blackra1n program). When the jailbreak is done, you'll see a black-drop-shaped icon in the application list on your iPhone, tap it and install the cydia and Rock applications. When you finish installign those, tap the Rock application and then tap on "manage" at the right bottom of your screen. After that, tap "Manage Sources", then "Edit" (top-right of the screen), then "Add" (Top-left), then type exactly this: "" (without the quotes). Now, after confirmation, still in Manage>Sources, scroll down until you see a section called "User entered". Tap the arrow to show a list of applications. The first one should be an application called "3G Unrestrictor", install it. After installed, open the application from your springboard and select these application if you have them: Skype, Nibuzz, App Store (Choosing it also unlocks iTunes Store) and any other application that doesn't allow a certain type of connection over the 3G network system. And as a bonus, you might grab some other free applications for your iPhone, such as old game consoles emulators, file managers (iFile Cracked) and more!

How to Jailbreak And Unlock Your iPhone With BlackSn0w and Blackra1n in Windows Posted by iunlock under Unlock on Monday Mar 1, 2010 google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad); Previously, we’ve released a tutorial to jailbreak and unlock iPhones for Mac Users. Now Windows users can do the same with their iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS by following this short tutorial. Remember this is specifically suited for those running Windows.
Please ensure first that you have the iPhone OS 3.1.2 installed as well as a 05.11.07 baseband. If you have the 5.12.01 baseband or higher though, unfortunately you cannot jailbreak yet. Meanwhile if your baseband is lower than the prescribed 05.11.07, you must first restore to the 3.1.2 firmware in order to proceed. Do this by starting up iTunes, selecting your iPhone from the device list, then holding down the option key and selecting restore. After this minor change, you can now push through with the tutorial.
Keep in mind, blackra1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This simply means once you have successfully jailbroken your device, do NOT ever let your battery die. Anticipate it and charge immediately once you notice it signalling it’s on low. When you allow your device to die, you would still need to reconnect it to the computer and specifically use blackra1n simply to reboot it.
If you have answered yes to the requirements above, then you’re good to go. But a word of caution to all: hacking your iPhone could void it of its warranty for good. So please proceed at your own risk. It is necessary to for safety and security purposes to backup your iPhone before beginning with the process. Once you’re done, we’re ready to begin.
Easy Guide to Jailbreak:
  1. Visit the blackra1n website,, using any web browser of your choice. Then select the Windows logo located at the bottom of the screen.
  2. When a prompt appears, download and save blackra1n.exe to your device. Then double click the executable file from where you saved it to launch the program.
  3. From here on, your iPhone or Ipod needs to be connected to the PC.
  4. You are now officially ready to start the jailbreak process. Proceed by selecting the “Make it ra1n” button.
  5. After this, you would notice that your iPhone is now in recovery mode. Instead of the recovery mode screen, the display features a picture of Geohot. Then you’re iPhone would reboot.
Jailbreaking has now been completed. You will notice a popup message informing you that blackra1n is free software and you can donate to Geohot at if you appreciate the software. Select ok to finish the process.
At this point, you’d see the blackra1n icon on the springboard of your iPhone. You can proceed further to unlock your device thereafter following these simple steps:
  1. Ensure you have an internet connection first. Then launch the application by selecting the blackra1n icon.
  2. Choose the installer application of your choice then select snow if you wish to unlock your device. Press install located at the top right of the screen if you want to proceed.
  3. Blackra1n will now begin to download and install the packages you selected.
  4. When completed, you would see a post install log for sn0w. CommCenter would automatically be restarted. But if your carrier does not support 3G, simply disable it. Then select the close button to continue.
  5. Blackra1n would now respring your iPhone. Now you can find the installer package right at your springboard.
  6. Once the package is confirmed to be working properly, you can now choose to uninstall blackra1n by selecting the “uninstall blackra1n” button inside the application. By doing this, you are opting to remove blackra1n from your springboard.
Congratulations! You have successfully jailbreak and unlocked your iPhone easily by yourself.

Effects of jailbreaking the iphone

There are a few Pros and Cons to consider when Jailbreaking your Apple iPhone.
Lets start with the good stuff. Jailbreaking your iPhone can be extremely fun. There are many useful applications available for download that bring your iPhone to life! I have found several open and closed source app to be very usefull.
The Cons..
I would like to commend every single one of the developers who are creating applications for this device. Many of them do this in their free time. For this I would like to say thank you!
Many of us have put our faith into the developers who create the catalog of outstanding software we are currently using. I am aware there is a process in which repositories are chosen for the But a word of caution to anyone who installs these applications. Do so at your own risk!
Jailbreaking could potentially BRICK your iPhone!
If you have OPENSSH installed on your iPhone.
UNINSTALL OPENSSH - leaving OpenSSH installed on your iPhone will leave it vulnerable to exploit via WIFI hot spots. If you have sent any files to your iPhone via SFTP. Then you currently are aware of the devices root username and password! (Many other people know this as well!)

Iphone keypad stopped working

I believe this problem persists after you have jailbreak
Your iphone . Now since you have done it the next step
Is to install a Ripdev application from the installer module. After
You have installed it successfully then you go to your iphone settings.
Here you will see Ripdev application installed then touch it to expand it more. Then here you will see Ripdev products, again you touch it
to expand and then you will notice a title which says Licenses
there you have to touch the Kate application and after that
you have to touch "purchase Authorization code" or for trail bases just touch the application which says “Ask for Trial License” after that
go to the iphone module that is the key pad and you will see
its working fine.
In short after jailbreaking and installing Rip Dev you have to purchase
That application to get your keypad working.
With this 100% your problem will be solved.
