Try lookingwhirlpool on the whirlpool web site or searching the web for whirlpool spare parts, Got loads come up straight away but not sure what country you are in so uk ones may not be suitable for you
Have you tried other places on the net by searching by part number in a web search engine? There may be some private vendors that sell these parts.
I found some companies are not very good for spare parts. This is especially with older units. The life expectancy for most appliances in these times is about 5 to 7 years. In most countries the manufactures are not obliged to supply parts past about 7 years past the last devices of the model in question were manufactured. Your fridge is more than that age!
Check behind the bins for a condensation tray/hose. Most refrigerators have these as they develop condensation due to the temperature differences when opening and closing the door. The tray catches the condensation, and drains it to a tray under the fridge. Here it evaporates when the compressor runs. Sometimes things block the tray or the hose gets clogged with gunk. clean out the tray/hose and hopefully your problem will end.
The drain in the freezer is clogging. When the defrost switches on, the backed-up ice thaws and starts dripping down into the fridge area.
Easiest is probably to turn off the fridge, let it thaw, then check the freezer drain to see if you can unclog it.
Otherwise, you have to pull out the bottom and back parts in the freezer (which will probably have some sort of ice frozen to them). Once you see the drain pan, get a turkey baster and flat head screw driver. You'll have to make a hole in the ice above the drain and squirt hot water until you hear it start draining. The drain hole is off center to the right in the drain pan.
Hi, this sounds like a problem with a blocked defrost drain. For full instructions on clearing the drain from my tips click HERE . If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike
you have the freezer set too low. set it at -02 degrees and then turn up the adjustment for the meat tray and the humidity up on the vegetables. let me know if this helps.
