Question about Casio Exilim EX-S600 Digital Camera
Lens just suddenly would not retract and a clicking noise (possibly slipping gear?) can be heard.
Please advise to the most likely problem and the cost / time to fix it.
I am sure you have tried pushing the lense in as it grinds or taking the battery out and reseting this will not help with your problem. What you need to is press the on/off button as the lense is set to retract with your thumb and forfing put a little force in the clock wise direction and make sure your pushing at the base of the lense. So if your looking at the lcd screen you want to be turning it to the left. This should fix your problem it may reoccur at times in that case repeat the same process it saves having to bye a new camera. firstname.lastname@example.org
