You can try updating your bios if you believe the hard drive is good.You can also enter the bios and chose to load the default.Save and exit.Once you have done so reboot and if the symptoms are still there,try removing the cd rom and one stick of memory.Still no go swap memory stick .Last resort remove the hard drive watch how quickly it loads.If at all possible you might want to reinstall windows as well.
