I have had 2 machines in 2 years (recent one blew up for different reasons). However I have followed the installation to the letter including removing the transit bolts, ensuring the machine is solid on its base and level at all sides using a spirit level, ensuring that the load is correct in weight and distribution, that there is no movement ensuring the feet are solid, the floor is of solid construction (no wood carpets or even lino). However I had to hold the machine down to stop the vibration and incredible noise above 900 spin speed and even then when the spinis stopping it makes a temporary load noise as it reduces in speed.
I am at my tether as to what to do. I cannot weight it down with something on its top surel and it would look unsightly.
Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping/or sound during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

My GE Front-Load Washing machine (no model name, newer one might be called Adora) is about 6 years old and recently it has started pausing itself midway through various cycles. The "pause" light is flashing, as though I pressed it, and it restarts when I press the button to unpause it. Very annoying because you expect the load is finished and discover it paused itself shortly after it started. Happens 1-3 x per wash cycle. I don't know if this is related, but I had no problems until about a month ago when I started a load and then all the lights flashed on the machine, door locked and then everything went dead. A few minutes later I was able to power on the machine and it seemed to work fine. It was not a power failure. Any advice would be much appreciated as I can't really afford a service call right now! Thank you.

Hi, I have a fault with the above mahine: when switched on the drainpump runs for about 10 seconds and then it stops with the start/pause button flashing. It does this on every program and doesn't show an error code. Thanks in advance.
