I recently got a refurbished LG CU400 from AT&T because the screen went out on the last one I had. Now this one I can't hear from the ear piece. I can only hear if I use a hands free device or put the call on speaker. Is there someway to fix this? I really like this phone, but I don't want to send it back for a second time.

dear sir i recently bought two new LG CU400 cell phones. I dislike the awful opening and closing sounds and moreso, that there is no way to disable the sound. The overall quality and design of this phone is very nice and the built-in camera is quite a nice feature. My problem is that LG does not offer software to be able to transfer the JPG pictures with a USB cable, to a PC. I've called both LG and AT&T and nobody seems to now how to transfer the pictures to a PC. Does anybody know how to transfer JPG pictures to a PC from the phone? I have the USB cable. Since AT&T took over Cingular, the service is absolutely awful! All they want to do is sell me the internet email service, which I do not want! Nobody seems to care; after 6 calls and about 10 hours on the phone, they couldn't help me.
I had the same problems that hottytoddy TWICE with 2 different phone sets. The original one came as a bundle with a 2-yr contract with AT&T. They exchange the 1st one which lasted 9 months with a refurbished one which lasted 93 days. After that they agreed to replace it with a Nokia 2610 for free, as they consented hottytoddy issues are known and not fixable. Sorry.
What you should do is call your service provider and have them send you a new phone. if it is under warrenty, you shouldn't have to pay anything. if not you might as well buy a new phone and recycle the old one. :)
