Montor has colored lines on left side

Are we talking thin vertical lines that run all the way from the top of the screen to the bottom? If so, this usually indicates a failure of the chip controlling that line of pixels.Unfortunately, there is no easy repair for this and the screen will need to be replaced.

Dell monitor white screen

Some people have disassembled the LCDs, and resoldered all cracked or corroded solder joints to get them to work again.

My Neovo f-417 LCD Monitor is switching off after 3-4 seconds. Green lamp is still blinking but there is no ligts and picture on screen. Only black screen

This means there is a hardware failure in the monitor that could be either blown CAPs or a shorted out inverter. It is difficult and dangerous to replace both of those(involving soldering and desoldering) if you don't know how as LCD's are made of a hazardous material. I would try new cables and on a different computer as a last resort and if that doesnt work then your monitor is trashed. If it works on another computer then the issue is not with your monitor. Good luck!

Montor shows a blank white screen and is unresponsive

Please try to connect the monitor to another PC, if it continues to happen, then probably an internal electronic part/s of your monitor is cold soldered / defective which failed to send signal to other hardware parts of your monitor thus you only see white display. I suggest to bring the unit to an authorized service center fix / replace the cold soldered / defective part/s. regards

Monitor is Flickering and screen becomes pink

Hi this is the way how to examine what's wrong with your LCD monitors. Power on both CPU and monitor. After it goes back to white, you have to check that if you can see the image on the screen or not by shining a flashlight into the screen, not directly but find the best angle to the screen and take a look very closely. If you can see the icons or any image, there will be a minor problem. I used to check my LCD monitor and could see window image using flashlight and found out that Some of CCFL lamps inside were broken and it is very easy to replace. If you cannot see anything on the screen, there'll be some problems with inverter board. If you have soldering tool and want to fix it by yourself, check the caps first. It may cause this problem. Some caps might show leaking or burn spot on the board because of too high temp. If you don't have soldering tool, you better go get a technician to do so.
Thank you,

Problem with Dell E152FP Monitor

If you open the monitor up, on the inverter board is a 1000uF 16v capacitor that goes bad. If you replace that it should fix the problem. Look at the top of all the capacitors and you should see one that's popped up on the top, that would be the bad one. Some soldering is required. Make sure you put the negative white stripe on the white side of the silk screen on the board! Its a simple fix just sounds difficult.

White intermittant horizontal lines

Sure it can be fixed, I think some components on the main board needs resolder on their soldered joints. Try this first before thinkig of getting a new one.

Proview PL926Wbi LCD Monitor White Screen

I found in the refuse, a Gateway FPD 1520, 15" LCD monitor that started off losing the screen half-way, losing sync, etc. The "mechanical agitation" method was applied and remedied the problem. Awhile ago, it went to a white screen (or, as it was back in the day- a clean raster). I opened it up and found that the ribbon cable on the left was loose. I applied a series of layers of adhesive-backed foam (the kind you stop drafts in your home with) until it was greater than the height of the metal enclosure to put pressure on the unbehaving connector. It does seem a bit loose and this will keep it snug. Maybe hot glue or other adhesive if it wiggles loose again. Seems to have solved the problem at the moment.
