Alarms and reminders

My alarms no longer have an option to dismiss or snooze.
My reminders do not make any sounds, until I reboot and then it sounds like every single one that was missed goes off at the same time.

The one issue where when you powercylce and the allarms come back on is an issue with all windows mobile devices called a phantom alarm....it sounds like a sw malfunction....do a master reset, by going through start>settings>clear storage....back up your info fist by using the PC or the memory card....this will remove all of you info and your settings.......if you are using an outdated sw you will have to reinstall and that should fix the problem...

My Mother-in-Law recently purchased a ZTE Majesty Pro [Z799VL] telephone from a Dollar General store. It has an alarm that goes off every 15 minutes. How do I disconnect from this service?

Read the manual. Turn the alarm off and the repeat function. It probably has an alarm set and the 15 minutes reminder is to say it hasn't been cancelled.

How do i set the alarm on my ihome alarm dock?

Once the time is correct, users can move on to setting the alarm itself. Many iHome systems come with dual alarms allowing couples to set different times for each person or individuals to designate a weekday and weekend alarm. Each alarm has its own time, wake-to source, and frequency. The process of setting the alarm is the same for both options, the only difference is what button, either 1 or 2, users depress when setting it.

Once ready to set an alarm, users need to push and hold the button down, waiting for the alarm time to appear on the clock's display. From there, the up and down arrows or plus and minus buttons adjust the time backwards or forwards accordingly. Once that is complete, users select the frequency of the alarm by pressing the alarm button again and then opting for 7, 5, or 2, which correlates with all week, weekdays, and weekends respectively.

The final part to set is the wake source of the alarm. Users press alarm buttons one more time, and then use the same directional buttons to choose from iPhone and iPad on some models, radio, buzzer, or playlist. If users choose playlist, they must also setup a playlist within their Apple device titled iHome.

Because frequency is part of the alarm setting process, there is no need to turn on the iHome alarm manually as one would do with a normal alarm clock. However, users can check to see if the alarm is active by looking at the screen of the clock for the earliest alarm time, displayed on its lower part.
In the mornings, when the alarm sounds, users have two options: Snooze and disarm. The disarm process turns off the alarm until the next day in its frequency chain. Users disarm the alarm by pressing the power button. On the other hand, users must manually program the snooze button. Users do this by pressing and holding the snooze button and then toggling to the desired snooze time, generally between one and 29 minutes. Once this is set, users simply press the snooze button in the mornings to delay the replay of the alarm for that amount of time.

GALAXY ACE-HOW TO TURN ALARM OFF - Hi, you've probably figured it out by now but just for any other new users who are still struggling, here is the answer: Galaxy Ace : When your alarm is going off and you lose the screen option to either snooze or dismiss, simply look in the top left of the phone and you will see the little alarm icon with an exclamation mark on it, on the top bar where the signal strength indicator and the battery icon is. You can scroll your finger down over this top bar and move it down over the top of your current screen, and when the alarm is ringing, the option to either snooze or dismiss the alarm also appears on this pull down screen. Peace at last!! Hope this helps someone.....

How to set an alarm on a Samsung T255G Phone?

Hi there!

You can set an alarm to alert you once, or daily at a specified time. Once set, the alarms are easy to change or turn off completely.

1. In Idle mode, press Menu > Tools > Alarms. The following options appear in the display:

• Wake-up Alarm
• Alarm 1
• Alarm 2
• Alarm 3
• Alarm 4

2. Select an Alarm. The alarm screen appears in the display containing the following options: the alarm name, the on/off setting, the time, AM/PM, alert type, alarm tone options, the alarm volume setting, days if the week to sound, snooze option and auto power on/off setting.

3. Highlight the options you wish to change, then select values for the options using the Left and Right navigation keys.

4. When you're finished entering and selecting values for the alarm, press ok. The alarm is set and the alarm icon appears in the top of the display.

Hope this helps

When my alarm goes off my phone does not prompt me to dismiss or snooze. It use to but it no longer does. I either get so frustrated and want to throw the phone or I just don't hear it and am late for...

Disable the old alarm and create a new alarm and see if you get the same result. For example if Alarm1 is the one not working, make an Alarm3 with the same setup. I had a similar problem with my Samsung phone. Alarm1 stopped allowing me the ability to snooze. I created a new alarm in a new slot and it is working fine.

Razr V3 Alarm Will Not Shut Off

My Razr V3m also has this issue. One way to shut the alarm off is (1) make a call to your cell from another phone. (2) Disconnect the call from the other phone without picking up (3) You should see two events on your cell - one for missed call and the other for alarm. (4) Delete the alarm event first and then the missed call.
Drawback for this solution is you need access to another phone...everytime :-(
Sometimes, I am able to shut the alarm successfully without any problem

T-mobile dash multiple alarms

The solution is a follows; If you have any legit alarms already set, disable them before proceeding

1) As soon as the unwanted alarm goes off , look at what time your phone says it is and make a note of it. (if you know EXACTLY what time it goes off at, then go to the next step)

2) Goto Start -> Clock & Alarm -> Alarm

3) Set the alarm time for the exact time from step #1. Set alarm to On.

4) Click Done, done, and done

5) Goto Start -> Clock & Alarm -> Alarm

6) Change the alarm to Off.

7) Click Done, done, and done

That's it, the alarm should now be disabled for this unwanted alarm, if you have multiple unwanted alarms, repeat this procedure for each.

Duplicate alarms

I may be off base but might the problem be as simple as the frequency being set for the alarm. What I mean to say is, might the default reminder time for the alarm be set to such a low setting like sec's or minutes leaving the unit to repeat the alarm rapidly prior to your being able to dismiss/snooze. Good luck.
