The Blade Arbor is held to the bottom of the table with mounting screws and stop/adjusting screws. Loosen the mounting screw and adjust the stop screws to make Blade true with miter slot.

How do I alligne the blade to the miter fence on my table saw. delta 10" no.34-670. thanks gregg

Just performed the same task on another brand table saw. un-sungged the bolts holding the table to the saw frame and tapped corners of the table while measuring distance from the mitre slot to the lead and tail of the fully extended saw blade (not from the teeth) calibrated to a perfect 90 degrees position. I figured out how to use a digital miter gauge to measure the distance from the blade to the edge of the mitre slot. You can tap appropriate corners to align.

Note when you are in alignment, re-tighten the bolts a little at a time, measuring and tapping as you go.

I have a delta 34-444 table saw, is it a right or left tilt, or how do i find out?

Left-tilt, right-tilt refers to the direction the top of the blade can be tilted when it is not straight up and down. There will be an indicator on the front of the saw, normally pointing to zero. When you adjust the blade away from zero, if it tilts to the left, it is a left-tilt saw.

Need to purchase delta 36-979 dado head table insert for 10' table saw

Use an appropriate pc of mdf that is same thickness of throat plate already installed. Use a router to flush trim to that throat plate. Now, insert and hold down with clamps and scrap panel. Raise Dado head ,while running, enough to do the job. This completes a zero clearance throat plate. No need to buy!

The belt in the motor of my 10 inch delta table saw broke its a Bando synchronous 100XL belt...Think I can find a replacement...However, before it broke whenever I started the saw I noticed unusual sounds...

I have the delta 10 inch cabinet saw with the uni-fence, I bought just before somebody at delta smartened up with the left tilt blade, that is the worst design I have ever seen. I came real close to buying a Powermatic the same day I got this thing. Anyway, my saw sounds like a mack truck in reverse slamming the dump gate when it starts, I don't think there is anything to oil, it has bearings on the shaft. I found a ring of some sort on the floor one day that fell out of the saw, broken in half, I have never found where it came from. We just laugh at it, It is a bad saw. I bought the 12 Rockwell/delta planer the same week, Oh boy did we have fun with that, instantly went through the set of knives on it, maybe 3 passes, I said what the heck. I called delta and told them this is the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen, I said for $1300 it should put a finish on the board when it comes out, and it should have carbide knives, I said, If I had know it was made in Taiwan, i would have bought a grizzly. and saved $500. And gotten a better planer. She said, I'm sorry, I can send you some new knives. I sold it. Still have the saw though. Never had problems with the bearings. Hope this helps.

I inherited an older Delta 10 inch table saw. While cutting lumber the blade slows down and stops. The wood is not binding the blade. With power off the blades and motor turn freely. Does the motor...

Two easy possibilities are that the blade is dull or that the wire is too small. The wire is likely to be a problem if you are using an extension cord. You could move the saw near to an outlet that you know to be wired with 12 gage wire (not 14). Or you could buy as short as possible 12 gage extension cord. If being underwired is the problem, you will notice that the motor comes up to speed much faster when wired adequately. You might also buy a cheap new blade to rule out the dull blade problem. If neither of these fixes the problem, then the motor has become "weak" because it has overheated just enough to cause some minor shorts between the windings. (If the shorts are major it won't turn at all and will trip a breaker.) In this case the motor can be rewound, but it will probably be cheaper and easier to just replace the motor.
Good luck, Al K

you might try Dewaltservicenet.com but you will need the model number and you might have to put the dash in between to get it to list the model. Let me know if you need more assistance and if you do I would also need this information.
