It goes into the U61

It goes into the U61 recovery mode but won't recover. When I click power the dvd player comes on, and it shows a screen on the t.v. staying to click "enter" and then click the power button. The background of the t.v. screen is a tv channel and I can't change the channel to put it on the AV1 screen because I have the click "enter" message on top of the t v channel screen. When I click "enter" the tray opens and the unit shuts off. When I click the power button the tray goes back into the player and the U61 message comes back on then the window of the unit then switches to showing the word "hello". The t.v. screen comes up with a background t.v. channel screen at the same time again with the click "enter" and power message superimposed in front of the t.v. channel. I don't know what to do. I've unplugged the dvd player and let it set for over 30 minutes. Now not only do I get the same things happening once I plug the power cord back but in the dvd player screen (in the off mode) blinks with the time and I can't get into the dvd player to even reset the time. Can you help me?
