Blank Screen. Dell Inspiron 1501 ¿?

I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1501. It was work fine, but, i go out for a few hours and now when i try to turn it on the screen don't display anything. If I plug an external monitor it works fine.

Somebody knows how to solve?

the problem might be from the screen or from the screen inverter.

Connect your laptop to an external monitor and try again.

If there is a display, then its obvious that the problem is from screen or screen inverter of your laptop.

Screen goes blank soon after switching on
Try "Safe Mode" (holding F8 key on boot and selecting "Save Mode"), then run diagnostics and an up to date (virus definitions) Anti-Virus full scan.
If Safe Mode is not accessible then you may want to consider a format and clean install by booting to your Windows (?) CD.
