Did you ask dell first on their forum. be best,
what does find mean? the jack, or the driver or both.?
there is no led in any headphone jack that is analog out, not SPDIF. (for sure) the book even tells you that.
im reading your manual now at dell, and there is no such port.
on this PC.

SOURCE: Dell latitude D620, no speaker sound

you will have to uninstall your audio device, and uninstall SKYPE and re install the audio device and don't re install SKYPE, you can do this by going to add or remove programs, and remove SKYPE first and unplug u r headset and mic, and after removing skype you can reboot the computer, and sometimes the conflict is resolved, otherwise then go into your device manager in system manager and find audio devices, unistall the driver or Update the driver, and reinstall it and the reboot, that should take care of the problem.

SOURCE: When I use the headphone output jack (to drive a powered subwoofer), the default internal speaker audio output is disabled, leaving me with only the subwoofer output. How can I use both the internal

Your best option is to use a seperate amp with sub output from the audio outputs on the back of your TV. use this amp to power the sub and a good pair of speakers, and you'll have quality sound.

It is possible to prevent the TV's internal speakers from cutting when you use the headphone socket, but it means going inside your TV, and if your not skilled, you can easily blow your TV (and yourself) up. You just need to re-wire the headphone socket on the TV to stop it cutting the internal spaekers.

SOURCE: No audio output to tv on my dell 1545

That, & most, earphone sockets, simply doesn't have enough "Current" or signal voltage to drive your TV set's audio in Amplifier. You need to get a Pre-Amp, to amplify the signal, up to a level that can be used by the TV. So you need to purchase, or build from a kit, a small stereo pre-amp and insert it between your laptop & TV audio In.

My dell latitude d510 internal spk is ready but output headfone jek not working

these are fairly passive in that if a headphone or earpiece is plugged in, they switch the output from the internal speaker to the external speaker. So, it's usually one of a few problems.
  • The jack is mucked up, and needs replaced.
  • The headphone plug wires have a broken connection
  • The headphone needs power to amplify, and that's not working.
If trying another headphone or earpiece you know is working doesn't work, it's the jack itself. They can only handle so many uses before they either fail closed, or open or completely. Depending on which one, either:
  • neither speakers nor headphones work.
  • only speakers work
  • only headphones work
Replacement necessitates opening the case and replacing the jack. For that, there's no help.

Where is the headphone socket on a LT24M3

This is a link to the manual.http://www.haier.com/admin/en/product/upload/LT24M3-UM.pdf
On P.08 it shows the input and outputs. This television does not have a headphone jack. It has a digital audio output which is the SPDIF output.
To use headphones with the television you would need to get a digital to analog converter. Something similar to what is shown here: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=180-998
You would also need a digital audio cable (SPDIF cable). They are about $15-$30 depending on where you get it and the brand.
You would connect the SPDIF cable to the television output and the digital to analog converter box (DAC), and connect the headphones to the DAC box.

Headphone jack stopped working for acer aspire 5520

If running Vista or Win7 then could be that SPDIF output is set as output device instead of the headphones as output. Try mixer controls or control panel applet.
