Unreadable.

I put the disc in and it read it at first. I recorded two interviews I had to take for an extra credit project. After the second one, going on to the third, it wouldn't go to the standby stage. I flipped the disc over, I'm not sure if it's meant to be a two sided disc, and it ended up reading the disc.

When it's on the side it wont read, it says video recorder disabled. I put in another disc, which already had been full of footage, on the same side that didn't work with the other disc, and it could still read it. I'm not sure what is wrong with it, and I don't know if it deleted the two clips I had shot.

If you know anyway to help me please let me know.
Also, would this really matter if I tried to upload it on the computer?
Like, will my footage still be on the side that cannot be read?
