Problem for Maytag MDB9600A Jetclean II Built-in Dishwasher

My Maytag model mdb9600aws motor shaft seal is leaking. How do I remove the seal and replace a new one. I am a novist, but I have taken the motor completely out and replaced the seal / gasket that the motor sits in, but there still is a leak. I am afraid the leak is going to destroy the motor as it has corrosion / salt like stuff about the motor. I have attempted to pry the shaft off with the use of 2 screw drivers. I was thinking since I am going to replace the whole motor shaft seal and chopper kit that I can just break it off, but I saw a metal like thing under the chopper area and above the seal made me scared.

You are wise to realize the leak would destroy the motor.
Take a close look at the diagram to see everything that gets placed on the motor shaft. That should give you a good idea what can/must be removed from that shaft.

Ask more questions once you have gotten the items off the shaft. OK?
