Nikon D200 2ish years old. probably shot less than 45,000 photos through it. (#
doesn't show up in Lightroom's EXIF) I think I have a mechanical
shutter problem. The over exposed band in the photo is inconsistent and
sometimes changes depending on what side of the camera is up. Sometimes
it is a light band through the top of the photo and other times it is a
wedge. Sometimes is it a complete black area of the photo usually wedge
shaped and not always on the side sometimes a slice out of the middle
of the photo. The over or under exposed area always hits at least one
edge of the photo. I am using ver 2.00 Software. I am on Vacation in
Costa Rica. what can I do about it here? I have posted open access photos on Facebook

The "S, CL, CH.." spindle of my Nikon D200 seems to have slipped about 90 degrees to the left - ie when set to S, it is like it is on the open shutter mode, and it twists backwards from S not forwards to CL when activated. How can i get this back to read properly? While the camera is still functional, its not ideal. Thanks for the help!
